Conserving to Serve

The City of Oaks Foundation has preserved over a hundred acres of natural forests, field, and streams in the Raleigh area since 2010, working in collaboration with the City of Raleigh and other partners to create new parks, protect our natural environment, and to conserve Raleigh's hidden natural treasures for future generations to enjoy.

Hundreds of children in the Raleigh and Wake County have been able to attend active outdoor summer camps and nature programs through the City of Oaks Foundation's Give Play program, which provides financial aid to under-resourced families to pay for camp opportunities that connect their children to nature.

Hundreds of families have been made aware of outdoor recreational and educational opportunities available in the Raleigh area, by the Foundation, and have participated in City of Oaks Foundation programs.

We have helped make our public parks nicer, helped create vital connections to link up areas of our community's green way trails, and helped get more people outdoors and active in Raleigh. With your help, we can do more.
